Volunteering in Morocco

Are you looking for volunteer work or a project for a (school) group? Want a unique and useful experience to become immersed in Moroccan culture? Atlas Morocco can help you out!

Every year, thousands of people go volunteering abroad. It’s a perfect way to get to know the culture of a country better and do something in return for the locals. The experience not only gives a glimpse into the society, but also gives yourself a great experience and good memories for the rest of your lives! Furthermore it looks good on your CV! The minimum period is 3-4 weeks, but of course we are happy to welcome you for a longer period.

Atlas Morocco cooperates with a Foundation which is a Moroccan non-profit foundation established in 1998 by Berbers and for Berbers and focuses on improving social and environmental conditions. It is located in a small Berber village in the Atlas Mountains and is close to a small town of Asni. The community consists of about 150 houses and 850 people, but the village is very poor.

Atlas Morocco leads several volunteer projects and you can do your part! In addition to these volunteer projects we also welcome (school) groups to come and stay with us for a shorter visit to the foundation in combination with a trek in the High Atlas Mountains.

As part of work we do in Asni we provide education and environmental conservation projects. Accommodation will be with a Berber family for a volunteer and for school groups will be in our center. For more information about this get in touch with us.
